Database Guidelines

Click Add a Dog.  The screen to the right will pop up.  Ensure the dog you want to add is not already in the database.  Enter part of the name in the name field and see if there are any matches.  ***Caution there are sometimes differences in spelling and or punctuation.  Best to search with the base kennel name without punctuation ie: beagle not beagle's

If found click on that dog and you would  make edits if needed.  If not found finish entering the name and then complete as  much information as you have.  If parents are in the database already you can add them in the Sire and Dam blocks.  If  they are not in the database you will have to add them on the next screen.  To add a breeder/owner they will have to have an account and add themselves.  

Click Save and go to Pedigree

Parents can be added by clicking the + signs in the pedigree grid below the dog details.

After adding yourself as a breeder and/or owner you will be able to add photos.  Click on the camera icon and drag and drop your photos.

Search for dog in database.  Click the hamburger menu next to dogs  name and select Edit.  Make your changes. 

Click the + Sign next to breeder or owner name.  Enter first part of  name and select from the list.  You can only add yourself.
